Technical Capabilities

Why NUWA Is Chosen

Introducing 5 strengths based on actual operation screens and on-site records.

How to Read This Page

Each of the 5 reasons can be verified with actual screens and records

We answer the 3 questions that arise when considering implementation—"Does it really work?", "Can it adapt to our site?", and "Can we maintain operations after deployment?"—from 5 technical and operational perspectives.

Each section features operation screens of tools actually in use and product configuration diagrams.

01 NUWA's AI Platform

Dialogue Content Is Created from Your Own Data

When you import existing materials (PDFs, text, slides), they are analyzed and vectorized, then accumulated as proprietary knowledge unique to your company. When formulating responses, the system first retrieves this knowledge and derives answers through RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). By not leaving answers entirely to large language model generation, it prevents the robot from pretending to know what it does not.

The same knowledge can be accessed not only by robots, but also from the web and apps. Even as devices and screens multiply, answers always come from 1 source.

Items shown in gray in the diagram (official website URL import, enterprise API integration, and foreign language translation) are under development. Only the colored portions are currently available.

02 Integrated Mobility and Dialogue Design

Assemble detection, facial expressions, actions, and conversation into a single flow

"Spot a person and greet them," "guide them to the sales area while changing expressions," "take orders on the spot accompanied by gestures." This sequence of actions cannot be seamlessly assembled if mobility, facial expressions, actions, and dialogue are controlled by separate systems.

On the actual editing screen, everything—from scheduling time slots and customer approach triggers to indoor mobility, facial expression and action transitions, AI dialogue, and conditional branching—is arranged within the same flow. Reordering steps or updating content for campaigns is handled entirely within this single screen.

No programming knowledge is required. Whether on-site staff can adjust settings on the spot is what determines long-term operational success.

03 Dialogue and Customer Service Tailored to the Workplace

Adapt Responses to Each Site, Even with the Same Robot

At reception, it communicates key points concisely; on the sales floor, it guides customers in detail right to the products; in classrooms, it pauses and waits for responses. We adapt not only the spoken content, but also the pacing, pauses, and repetition to suit each workplace.

In Japan, our robots are actively used across diverse locations, including consumer electronics retailers, commercial facilities, underground shopping centers, and restaurants. Browse our published on-site photos to see how they operate after deployment.

04 Operation and Maintenance Structure

Scale Fleets Without Increasing Operational Overhead

As the number of locations and units increases, the effort of visiting sites in person accumulates. With the Robot Management System (RMS), you can configure permissions hierarchically, distribute updates to multiple locations in bulk, and remotely monitor operating status in real time.

Usage of flows and actions can be tracked quantitatively. Based on this data, you can identify areas for improvement and apply changes immediately.

05 Custom Development (OEM / ODM / JDM)

Customized to site specifications, from body color to functionality

Some sites cannot be accommodated by off-the-shelf products as-is. Site requirements vary, including installation width, required height, display size, and harmony with facility aesthetics. Because NUWA designs robot hardware in-house, we can tailor everything from exterior design to functional architecture to site specifications through OEM / ODM / JDM custom development.

Even when integrating with existing equipment or business systems, we can scope and develop only the required components.

Joint Research

From Open-Call Joint Research Field Trials to Commercialization

In collaboration with Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute (TIRI) and business partners, we conducted field trials of an AI hospitality robot system. By verifying in-store guidance, sales promotion, and navigation within actual operations, we reflected the findings in product designs aimed at commercialization.

Insights gained from field trials are applied to improvements in conversational AI, mobile guidance, and signage, as well as designs that make operational tools easier to update on-site. The improved signage-type Collibot officially launched on April 1, 2026.

From Field Trials to Commercialization

Applying challenges identified in field trials to subsequent designs

A PoC is not a trial that ends after verifying functionality once. By connecting 4 perspectives—product developers, technical and safety evaluators, implementation supporters, and frontline end-users—we reflect challenges discovered during operations into subsequent designs.

In this way, rather than leaving site-specific adjustments as person-dependent tasks, we transform them into designs and operating procedures that can be reused in future deployments.

Tell us about your site conditions

Even if installation area dimensions, target languages, or the required number of units are not yet finalized, please feel free to reach out. We will provide recommendations based on case studies from sites with similar conditions.
